INTERN - Designer/Specifier MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To support the sales effort by providing creative responses to client needs through attractive presentation and installation drawings, accurate product specification and timely field and technical support. JOB OBJECTIVES Assist designer in creating design solutions by assisting in determination of best furniture options and space utilization. Learn product and improve technical knowledge through site visits, client meetings, and frequent communication with sales and design team members. Learn how to and provide accurate product specification based on current product knowledge. Create furniture floor places from client and/or architect information within established time frame and budget. Respond quickly to bid requests through product knowledge and computer design skills. Track and bill our activities accurately. Continually update computer design skills.
