We proudly partnered with The Newmark School to incorporate a 21st century classroom design as it merged its Newmark K-8 School and Newmark High School into a new, state-of-the-art facility. Newmark serves students aged 5-21 who are strong academically, but live with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. It provides academic and mental health services that set students on the path to success both academically and socially. By providing a solution that consisted mainly of Steelcase Node chairs and media:scape technology, the students will have an easier time staying engaged in their new active learning environment and can participate in relaxed collaboration with teachers and classmates.
See how a 21st century classroom changed the lives of The Newmark School’s special needs students and their families in this Steelcase Education video.
