They were working with the Building Manager and their Architect and needed a partner to advocate on their behalf to ensure the space would be built to fully accommodate their needs. As we learned about their goals for their new space, we recommended several changes to the plans to support what Odell Studner was looking for.
Our dancker furniture team partnered with DBE Systems to understand the Acrisure’s needs and develop integrated solutions to recommend changes to the plan to better accommodate their stated goals and workflow. Our proposed solutions were based on overall space allotted, business needs, user preferences, occupancy, and aesthetics.
With the client at the center of all our efforts, the team was able to co-create solutions and push the building architect and building manager to revise their base plan and approve construction changes to ensure that rooms had the right dimensions to accommodate the functions the client required, and in turn, both furniture and technology criteria for better work experiences. Key changes we helped implement included providing more private offices – growing from 19 to the 30 required, updating the layout of the training room, and changing dimensions of some rooms to accommodate programming needs and better work flow. We also helped Odell Studner implement new workplace standards that reduced the footprint of workstations and private offices to allow more space for collaboration areas such as huddle rooms, open collaboration and their “Limitless Café” that offered alternate settings to work from as desired.
Our integrated dancker + DBE team worked closely with the GC and the Electrical Contractor to provide coordinated deliverables, including low voltage for wireless access, all data drops, coordination with data for furniture, sound masking, room scheduling, digital signage and of course AV / collaborative spaces along with furniture solutions.
The project was completed on time, within budget and with 100% client satisfaction!
