Watchung Hills Regional High School is a regional comprehensive public high school and school district serving students in portions of Somerset and Morris Counties in New Jersey. The WHRHS learning community is committed to developing critical and creative thinkers who collaborate and communicate effectively to solve academic and real-world problems.
With a shared commitment to excellence, our dancker and ForBuild teams worked with WHRHS to create learning environments that support their culture and academic program. Their program is designed to teach students to ask questions, take risks, and solve problems.
The dancker team worked with Spiezle Architectural Group to furnish five pilot classrooms and a learning commons. Partnering with Steelcase and KI, we provided furniture that inspires both student collaboration and individual study. High tables and stools offer a space to share ideas and ask questions, while training tables and chairs provide for classroom learning. To create unique division of space within the learning commons, our ForBuild team and DIRTT used innovative solutions like Timber and Leaf Wall. Together these solutions help to sustain Watchung Hills’ commitment to education.
