As part of Howard University’s $800M STEM modernization initiative, dancker is proud to support the nation’s only R1-designated HBCU in advancing next-generation research and learning environments.
What began as a single Chemistry research lab engagement quickly expanded into a multi-million, five-floor Chemistry Building modernization — awarded without bid — positioning dancker as the sole-source partner for Chemistry, Biology, and Physics lab furnishings and equipment.
Scope includes laboratory casework, specialty cabinets, fume hoods, demolition, installation, and warehousing, delivered in phased, eight-week turnarounds to maintain academic continuity. Completion is targeted for Summer 2026.
Following this success, dancker has also received verbal awards for the Physics and Fine Arts Buildings — further reinforcing its role as a trusted, long-term modernization partner.
