Prior to joining Dancker my experience spanned working for both distributors and professional services organizations across a wide range of industries, from start-ups to established companies. This gives me a unique perspective how to run a business efficiently.

The opportunity to join a 150+ year old company operating in growth mode was perfect blend of my background. It’s been very rewarding to be part of a great team and helping make our growth model work – all while having fun doing it!

I had planned to follow in my dad’s footprints and become a mechanical engineer. Luckily a friend of his, who was a CPA, encouraged me to give accounting a try. I realized that came much easier to me than engineering. It was a natural fit and found I liked working with middle market companies. Here a company is small enough that I can make a difference, yet big enough to have the revenue to implement real change.

When I’m not focused on helping the business grow, I am working with my wife on the restoration of our 200+ year old home.

Another thing most people might not know about me is that I play the bagpipes.
