Feeding Hands is a local food pantry and non-profit organization committed to serving and caring for the less fortunate in North-Central NJ since 2014.

Amidst the challenges of the COVID pandemic, their well-known hands-on approach needed to evolve and they set up a drive-thru system in the parking lot of Emmanuel Church in Somerville, NJ. Unfortunately, they were displaced due to the aftermath of Hurricane Ida in 2021.

For three years, Feeding Hands navigated from place to place, assisting thousands of families by providing hundreds of thousands of pounds of food. In a significant milestone, in April of 2023, they secured a permanent home in Hillsborough, NJ just 4 miles from their last established location, and expanded from 600 square feet to 8,000 square feet, to serve as their primary distribution center. Their new facility suites the growing needs of families seeking aid, caters to existing satellite locations in Manville, Bernardsville, and Edison and paves the way for future expansions. The facility houses a shopping area that allows families to choose items that align with their preferences, cooking styles, and health requirements. Additionally, a significant portion serves as a warehouse to manage their operations.

In support of this noble cause, we facilitated the logistics to deliver and install furniture released from our asset inventory management program. The furniture was expertly reconfigured by our installation team to perfectly fit Feeding Hands’ new space.

We are honored to have contributed to Feeding Hands Pantry’s mission of battling hunger and homelessness.

“We truly appreciate the incredible help of the dancker team in sourcing and installing the furniture for our new food distribution center. They were so accommodating in donating the furniture and flexible in installation for our very tight window. Not the first time they have helped us either! They were there for us during the pandemic, sending trucks to pick up food for us at Community Food Bank of New Jersey and delivering to us “just-in-time” as we operated from tents at the curb. Truly a company who cares!”
