A Healthcare Relocation Like No Other
After establishing a 145,000sf logistical facility and team in central NJ to support our Healthcare System client’s materials management, our Healthcare Logistics team partnered with the client, Stantec, Blanchard Turner and Biological Relocation Solutions to help them relocate to a new 530,000sf surgical and intensive care facility.
The new Patient Pavilion features 24 state of the art operating rooms with both new and existing equipment and assets. Our team worked with our client’s healthcare professionals, Equipment Planner, and other team members to coordinate the relocation of both staff and patients while both hospitals remained in operation. Our team supported this client with warehousing, delivery, and installation of more than 11,400+ new and existing pieces of equipment (including the installation of 900 flow meter + oxygen meter + regulators).
Our team helped to move patients in 5 active ICU rooms by coordinating with the medical team to prep patients and equipment for the move. An entire escort team was present and participated to ensure a smooth transition.
